Easter fun

Apparently painting eggs is a big thing over here for Easter! Who knew! Instead of hunting for chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday, you go hunting for painted eggs. My housemates were painting eggs on Friday night and I got to do a couple myself. I’m quite proud of this one:

I also drew a map of Tasmania on the back, but unfortunately I don’t have a photo because I stupidly dropped the damn thing on Sunday morning. So Tasmania looks like a severe earthquake hit it.

I also didn’t get a good photo of this delicious morsel, because by the time I’d realised the image was all blurred I’d eaten the whole thing (as you might be able to tell, I’d already started to nibble when I remembered to take a photo at all). This is a butter cream egg (I think that’s the name?) made by one of my housemates – it’s basically cream and butter, dipped in chocolate. How can you go wrong? Also, it’s got my name written on it, which ups the level of awesome considerably.

Mmmm, Easter.
